Dataset description
The register of centuries-old trees contains information on individual centuries-old or remarkable trees in Bulgaria, which are declared protected under Article 102 of the Biological Diversity Act. The register keeps up-to-date information on the characteristics of each tree officially announced by order of the Minister of Environment and Water. These data shall include: unique identification code; species name; location — municipalities, districts, RIEW, REG (SG and DLS) in which it falls; The number and date of the notice and modification orders; No and date of the State Gazette; characteristics of the tree: age at the date of announcement, height, diameter, perimeter and features.
