Register of senior officials

The President of the Court of Auditors has established a public register of persons occupying senior government positions to assist in the performance of the functions assigned to him by the Law on Publicity of Property of Persons occupying Senior State and Other Positions. The public register is responsible for declaring the assets, income and expenses of persons holding senior state and other positions in the Republic of Bulgaria. The register has a well-functioning electronic declaration system and a mechanism for verification of property declarations, which fully achieves its objectives of ensuring transparency and publicity, as a first measure in the fight against corruption among senior public officials in the Republic of Bulgaria.
