Register of accredited bodies in the Republic of Croatia

The HAA Accreditation Register contains information on legal persons who have passed the assessment of professional technical competence by the HAA and who have issued the Accreditation Certificate. The Croatian Accreditation Agency (HAA) is an independent and non-profit public institution that performs the tasks of the national accreditation service in the Republic of Croatia. It was established by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Croatia (NN Nos 158/2004 and 44/2005, 30/2010), on the basis of the Accreditation Act (OG 158/2003, 75/2009, 56/2013). HAA performs conformity assessment of products, processes and services with technical regulations and standards by professional and technically trained laboratories, certification and inspection bodies, greenhouse gas verifiers, competence testing organisers. Accreditation is a document issued by the HAA, which is an internationally recognised means of demonstrating competence for conformity assessment in the areas of testing, calibration, certification (product, QMS, EMS, personnel), inspection, greenhouse gas verification and organisation of proficiency testing. Accreditation is a voluntary decision of the management and management of the conformity assessment body, and accreditation of a conformity assessment body meets the requirements for authorisations, designations and notifications in accordance with EU directives and Croatian regulations. Accredited bodies give confidence in testing, certification and inspection services regardless of whether it is a service to the state administration (legally regulated area) or to the contracting entity under the contract (voluntary area). The HAA meets all the requirements of the international and European standard for accreditation bodies accepted in Croatia as the Croatian standard HRN EN ISO/IEC 17011:2005 and Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008 setting out the requirements for accreditation and market surveillance relating to the marketing of products.
