Dataset description
In the base there are locations of 19 protected areas in the categories of national park and nature park. For each protected area, basic data (category of protection, year of designation, designation act, area and geographical details and contact information) are given, surveys carried out within each protected area and taxonomic group data. Data on protected areas, research carried out, institutions and experts carrying out the research. An integral part is the representation of individual taxonomic groups in protected areas.
