Dataset description

Area where the soil is believed to be slightly polluted, designated cf. Section 50a of the Soil Pollution Act. Agglomeration is generally classified as an area where the soil is thought to be slightly polluted. Urban zones are laid down in accordance with the rules laid down in the Statutory Order of the Planning Act (Section 34 of LBK No 937 of 24/09/2009) Larger, contiguous areas within agglomeration may be taken from the classification of areas by means of regulations when the municipality has knowledge that the soil is not lightly contaminated (cf. Section 50a(2)). Larger, contiguous areas outside the urban zone may be included by regulations in the area classification when the municipality has knowledge that the soil is slightly contaminated (cf. Section 50a(3)). When the municipality is aware of the soil’s pollution level, areas can establish analysis-free areas where land relocations are still notifiable, but are exempt from analysis. Ordinance of the Act on contaminated soil, § 50a, no. 1427 of 4 December 2009
