Dataset description

Danish Stednames are the official register of place names in Denmark and contain place names from the tree of Kongeegen and the city of Centrum to the island of Fyn. There are approximately 140.000 Danish place names in total, all of which are registered with a geographical location. It may be a point, line or area describing the geographical distribution of the place name. Location names are used by the PSAP, the Travel Plan, municipalities, environmental authorities and many more.
