Dataset description

Altitude curves show the elevation conditions of the Danish landscape through a series of lines, each indicating a certain altitude above sea level (cote). Part of Denmark’s Height Model (DHM). Denmark’s Height Model (DHM) provides detailed information about the altitude conditions in Denmark and allows you to produce detailed and accurate maps. Altitude curves and cots are part of Denmark’s Height Model, and are made available as web services and download. Denmark’s Height Model is used, among other things, in the defence, emergency and environmental fields, in connection with major construction projects, mapping and archaeological work. DHM/High curves are a dividing limb in Denmark’s Height Model. DHM/Earth curves are 0.25 m, 0.5 m and 2.5 m.
