Dataset description

The model calculations provide a nationwide dataset for the depth of ground water in the periods 1990-2019, 2041-2070 and 2071-2100 in 500x500 m (Bornholm in 100x100m) model calculations are calculated for the emission scenarios RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 with a total of 22 climate models (21 for Bornholm). Modelling can be used as boundary conditions for setting up and delimiting both dynamic and stationary local retail models and more detailed analyses in combination with other available data. The depth of ground near groundwater is available as daily time series and as a mean for each of the 22 climate models for the reference period 1990-2019 and the projected periods 2041-2070 and 2071-2100. There are no model calculations for Læsø, Endelave, Tunø, Samsø, Anholt, Æbleø, Vejrø and Christiansø. The depth of ground close to ground is indicated (in the unit meters above ground) as the distance from the ground to the groundwater table with positive values upwards and negative values downwards, e.g. -3 means that the groundwater table is 3 metres below ground. The modelling can be used to assess where it is logical to determine the periphery of the retail model and whether the rim will be sensitive to climate change. Data for all 22 climate models are provided as boundary conditions so that they can be included in ensemble runs with local models with 17 RCP8.5 regional climate models and 5 RCP4.5 climate models respectively. In cities/close settlements, at major transport facilities, in areas close to the coast and complex geological conditions, uncertainty on the depth of the groundwater level may be worse.
