NP3b2020 Peace forest subject areas

Areas with a forest obligation, cf. the Forest Act. The theme shows current data as of 1/3-2020. The current data can be found in the cadastral map. It is the Forest Act which determines which areas are subject to forest conservation, cf. Act No 315 of 28/03/2019. Protected areas are listed in both the land register and the cadastral map. Almost all public land where forest is or is established is subject to forest protection. Private areas where forest is established will only be subject to a forest obligation if they are directly imposed by the Environmental Protection Agency.
