Dataset description

This report follows up a series of surveys initiated in March 2000 (Flash EB 76) and continued ever since at a regular rate. The last survey was conducted in November 2004 (Flash 165) with the objective of assessing the public’s opinion three years after the single currency had been introduced. Between 5 and 14 October 2005 the EOS Gallup Europe network conducted this survey among 12,035 citizens aged 15 years and over in the 12 Member States of the euro zone. The main objectives of the study are to present the principal results obtained in 2005 and to highlight the changes noted since November 2004. #####The results by volumes are distributed as follows: * Volume A: Countries * Volume AA: Groups of countries * Volume A' (AP): Trends * Volume AA' (AAP): Trends of groups of countries * Volume B: EU/socio-demographics * Volume B' (BP) : Trends of EU/ socio-demographics * Volume C: Country/socio-demographics ---- Researchers may also contact GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences: [https://www.gesis.org/eurobarometer](https://www.gesis.org/eurobarometer)
