Dataset description

The EU relies on a comprehensive set of policies and legislation that aims at supporting better working conditions in the EU, including minimum standards of labour law and occupational safety and health. Working conditions for the purpose of this Eurobarometer were defined as working time, work organisation, health and safety at work, employee representation and relation with the employer. The survey does not only aim to know the opinion of Europeans about their current working conditions, but also about the evolution of the working conditions over the last 5 years and looks at how the quality of work has been affected by the crisis. The survey shows among others that a majority think that their working conditions have deteriorated in the last 5 years and reveals wide disparities in worker satisfaction between Member States. #####The results by volumes are distributed as follows: * Volume A: Countries * Volume AA: Groups of countries * Volume A' (AP): Trends * Volume AA' (AAP): Trends of groups of countries * Volume B: EU/socio-demographics * Volume B' (BP) : Trends of EU/ socio-demographics * Volume C: Country/socio-demographics ---- Researchers may also contact GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences: [https://www.gesis.org/eurobarometer](https://www.gesis.org/eurobarometer)
