Dataset description

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Justice, Freedom and Security commissioned this survey. Interviews were conducted face-to-face in the twenty-seven Member States of the European Union in respondents’ homes, in their national language, between November 9 and December 14, 2007. At the European Union level, the profile of the people who have been involved in civil justice procedures in a ember State other than their country of residence or who consider it possible that this could happen tends to correspond to the following socio-demographic categories: ♦ 9% of people born in other European Union countries have been involved and a further 19% consider this likely; ♦ The younger people are the higher the perceived likelihood that they may become involved in the future; ♦ The longer people have stayed in full-time education the higher the perceived likelihood that they may become involved in the future. #####The results by volumes are distributed as follows: * Volume A: Countries * Volume AA: Groups of countries * Volume A' (AP): Trends * Volume AA' (AAP): Trends of groups of countries * Volume B: EU/socio-demographics * Volume B' (BP) : Trends of EU/ socio-demographics * Volume C: Country/socio-demographics ---- Researchers may also contact GESIS - Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences: [https://www.gesis.org/eurobarometer](https://www.gesis.org/eurobarometer)
