Special Eurobarometer 433: Civil protection

The survey looked at European citizens' attitudes towards EU civil protection and their awareness of disaster risks as well as their economic impact .This opinion poll shows the level of support among citizens for EU coordinated action in dealing with disasters in comparison to the national approach. To get an indication of the level of solidarity with countries worldwide was also one of the objectives of the survey.
