Here you can find comparative information on children in criminal judicial proceedings - comparative information on protection of private and family life for all the EU28 Member States on the basis of information collected from national and international databases. The data is available on e.g: - Statutory provision on the right of child offenders to privacy and family life at all stages of the proceedings; - Existence of discretionary powers of judge/ court to order the disclosure of any information related to the proceedings of child offenders; - Percentage of cases where any child offender's right to non-disclosure was withdrawn by the court during a 12 month period; - Percentage of criminal judicial hearings involving child offenders in camera (only those directly involved should be present) during a 12 month period; - Statutory provision on the right of all child victims to privacy and family life at all stages of the proceedings; - Existence of discretionary powers of judge/ court to order the disclosure of any information related to the proceedings of child victims; - Percentage of cases where any child victim's right to non-disclosure has been withdrawn by the court during a 12 month period; - Percentage of criminal judicial hearings involving child victims in camera (only those directly involved should be present) during a 12 month period; - Statutory provision on the right of all child witnesses to a private and family life at all stages of the proceedings; - Existence of discretionary powers of judge/ court to order the disclosure of any information related to the proceedings of child witnesses; - Percentage of cases where any child witness's right to non-disclosure has been withdrawn by the court during a 12 month period.
