This week, a weather event has returned bringing large amounts of rain. Due to soil moisture levels there is expected to be flooding in several areas. There has already been one fatality due to flood waters. Several communities, some of whom were already affected earlier this year, are expected to be inundated. Copernicus EMS Rapid Mapping has been requested by Emergency Management Australia and states to assist with situational awareness and impact analysis by providing daily delineation monitoring products.<br/> <br/> Reference products: 0<br/> Delineation products: 1<br/> Grading products: 0<br/> <br/> Copernicus Emergency Management Service - Mapping is a service funded by European Commission aimed at providing actors in the management of natural and man-made disasters, in particular Civil Protection Authorities and Humanitarian Aid actors, with mapping products based on satellite imagery.<br/>
