Address details of buildings and voting district — whole Finland

The address data of buildings throughout Finland include data extracted from the Population Information System: permanent building code, building category grouped into two categories residential/premises building or production/other building, information on the location and region of the building, coordinates, address of the building, voting district and location property. The data was collected on 12 May 2022 and contains the data on completed and unfinished buildings that were in force at the time of the extraction. The total number of buildings is 3,724,149. The material includes buildings that meet the following conditions: a) The building has coordinate data and b) The building has at least a postal code. The data can be downloaded as a single 7-zip file containing data on the entire country’s buildings or as text files by region. A more detailed description of the material and a list of the counties of municipalities are available for download in the files. The data is updated four times a year by picking up new up-to-date data from the Population Information System. The publication dates are approximately 15 February, 15 May, 15 August and 15 November.
