The material includes the answers to the Kiva Centre for Walkers survey. The data was collected between 17 September and 19 October 2014. The survey received nearly 1,800 map comments.
The survey asked e.g.: What’s it like to walk downtown? Where is the best place to relax? What do you think you should do to make the streets, squares, parks and walking tunnels more comfortable?
The answers help the designers of the Urban Planning Agency to pay attention to the places and things that city dwellers find most important. The survey is part of the general plan for the pedestrian centre in preparation. The planning will begin in 2015.
**Fields of data**
The question is the category of the map comment, i.e. the characterisation given to the map entries placed in the Tell on Map service (defined by the author of the survey).
Subject and Comment are written by the respondents. If the respondent has not written anything in the box that opens after the map entry, the SUBJECT reads “Mapmark only”. Otherwise, it shows the beginning of the respondent’s text. The COMMENT has an answer in its entirety.
Longitude and latitude are the coordinates of the map. The coordinate system is ETRS-GK25.
