Dataset description

The data includes the answers to the [Helsinki National Urban Park online survey](https://app.maptionnaire.com/fi/3173). The online survey open to all started in autumn 2017 and was open until 17 December 2017. The answers contain information about the areas and places that residents would like to include as part of the Helsinki National City Park. The online survey was part of the City of Helsinki’s survey work on how to establish a national urban park in Helsinki. Answers were needed, among other things, on the location of the most refreshing, most beautiful and best performing places in Helsinki. In the survey, it was also possible to mark on the map paths worth developing and places with potential. The City of Helsinki pilots its participation and interaction model as part of the National City Park survey. In addition to the online survey, the work has started in the form of stakeholder workshops, and forms of inclusion will be developed as the project progresses. Collaborating with the study is the National Urban Park in Helsinki! it’s a movement. Inappropriate language and expressions referring to personal data have been removed from the material. The spatial data sets are in the WGS84 coordinate system. **Point file fields** — respondent = unique identifier of the respondent — creatime = time to create a point object — ID = unique identifier of response — buttonname = category of question visiblelay = Maps visible to the user — zoomlevel = the scale level of the map view selected by the user — should = Answer to the question “Do you think this place should belong to a national urban park?
