Brake test system

The brake test system allows the semi-automated inspection of the brakes to be carried out. The system includes equipment located in the terrain: the brake test device, the right connectors and the right atmospheric pressure. For brake testing systems, the identification, type, owner, date of commissioning, condition/additional information and status (in use, not in use, not known) as well as location marking, track mileage and location estimate shall be provided. The brake testing system is part of the services and equipment of the railway yard. The material covers railways owned by the Finnish Transport Agency. The source system of the data is the track object management application (RATKO) of the Track Infrastructure Management System (RATKO).
