Building prohibitions map of the City of Helsinki

The Building Prohibition material is a theme map of the non-construction areas in force in the city, assembled by City Measurement Services in Helsinki. A site or property may be prohibited from building for the purpose of drawing up, modifying or continuing the planning of a station or master plan. As a result of the change in the organisation of the City of Helsinki, the City Environment Board has been the author of the construction ban since 1 June 2017. Prior to this, the building ban was imposed by the City Council. The material can be downloaded in several formats, including JSON, KML, CSV, Esri Shape and XML.
