City of Helsinki base map

The population map of the City of Helsinki is the most accurate spatial data set in the City of Helsinki. The base map contains information describing the terrain, the built environment and the division of properties. The data has been produced through aerial photographs, terrain measurements and real estate deliveries as well as building permit processing measures. Update and maintenance on a continuous basis. The data includes real estate, buildings, traffic routes, management data, naming and identifiers, regionalisations, water systems, elevation data, land and plant cover, hull points and other objects. Base maps are also produced on the basis of the base map.
