Vantaa City Museum has opened its photographs, objects and archives as well as information on cultural environment sites openly licensed through the Finna service.
Finna has different layers of Vantaa’s history: archaeological excavations lead to a long history, while aerial photographs show the city’s transformation from above. There are objects and pictures from Håkansböle Manor, the treasures of Leonardo da Vilhu, the everyday life and products of the Tikkurila Silk Factory, buildings that have disappeared from the street and much more.
Photos published in the Vantaa City Museum’s Finna service can be used freely, also in commercial use. The use of advertising requires permission from the persons in the pictures. The photo must include the Vantaa City Museum and the photographer (if known). The photos displayed in the service are printable high-resolution images.
Materials are being added and the service is constantly being developed.
