Combination of Vantaa Master Plans

The combination of Vantaa’s master plans is a compilation of the confirmed master plans in the City of Vantaa area. In general, the master plan guides the municipal land use and the preparation of more detailed town plans. Vantaa has two master plans in force: master plan 2007 and master plan 2020. The new master plan 2020 approved by the City Council on 25 January 25.1.2021 has entered into force on 11 January 2023 and covers almost the entire area of the city, with the exception of the West Strait, which has been excluded from the plan and two regional designations annulled by the Helsinki Administrative Court. The zoning plan 2007 approved in part by the City Council on 17 December 2007 entered into force with notices on 25 February 3.6.2009, 3 June 25.2.2009 and 13 January 2010. — The general provisions of the 2007 zoning plan and the provisions on markings remaining in force in the West Strait remain in force in the Western Strait. — Hakkila (Hakintie 4) in the area of housing in Hakkila (Hakintie 4) will be replaced by the master plan 2007 ‘industrial area in which the environment imposes specific operational quality requirements’, in addition to which the ‘groundwater area’ and ‘power line’ of the master plan 2020 will enter into force. — The ‘area of industrial activities with high environmental impact (LDEN 55-60 dB)’ and ‘road traffic area (L)’ will enter into force for the area of ‘Air noise zone 2 (LDEN 55-60 dB)’ and ‘Instructive outdoor route’ of the 2020 ‘Air noise zone 2 (LDEN 55-60 dB)’.
