Composition of mixed waste in the metropolitan area

A survey of the composition of mixed waste from households in the Helsinki metropolitan area is carried out every three years. The results are presented as averages and per property group, both in percentages and in kg/as/a. The composition of mixed waste is broken down into 11 categories and subcategories. Households were divided into research groups according to the number of apartments on the property.
