Division of voting districts in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area

The voting district of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area is an open map material published by the cities of Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa, which describes the voting areas approved by the central election committees, the City Council and the City Board. The voting district map shows the boundaries of the regions as well as some characteristics related to the regions. When using the material, please note that voting areas, their IDs and names may vary from year to year.As such, the map data cannot be applied to statistics on election results for other years. The recommended scale is 1:10 000. The data are maintained by the City Measurement Departments of Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa. The Helsinki City Measurement Department is responsible for combining and publishing the data. ##Division of voting districts in 2023 The 2023zip package includes the formats Mapinfo TAB, SHP and Geopackage.The coordinate system is ETRS-GK25 (EPSG:3879). There have been no changes in the areas of Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen.
