Domestic TV series in KAVI databases

The material contains metadata of domestic television series from KAVI databases (radio and television programme database [Ritva](https://www.rtva.kavi.fi) and filmographic collection database Tenho). The XML file, taken from Ritva database, using the MPEG7 schema, contains the following information from 1 January 2009 on the first-time and renewed domestic TV series on television:series-id, permanent identifier, serial name, alternative name, description. The alternative name and description are not available in all series.KAVI’s radio and television archive has produced data on the descriptions using, for example, websites and written material as sources of information. More detailed source information can be accessed in [Ritva database.](https://www.rtva.kavi.fi) The Radio and Television Database Ritva contains programme streams of domestic radio and TV channels since the beginning of 2009 and metadata from April 2007. In addition, the database contains TV programs and metadatos from 1957-2008. The material taken from the tenho database contains the following information on the domestic television series in KAVI’s internal database: name, id number in Tenho database, premiere date, premiere location. The tenho database is, above all, a database for KAVI’s internal use and collection management, which contains metadata, in particular on films, but also to some extent on television material. The list of domestic television series is therefore not exhaustive.
