Dataset description

The update of Finnish community names ended in December 2020. New community names will be updated in canton (http://finto.fi/finaf/fi/). Finnish community names cover the indicative titles produced by the National Library in the context of the national bibliography of the author and target communities of Finnish publications, including the communities of music material. The records include well-established Community titles taken from publications and, in addition, any other language formats and other names of the entity (e.g. abbreviation). They may also be linked to the entity’s previous or newer name.
