The Helsinki traffic routes (medium line material) comprise the centreline lines of the Helsinki traffic routes, including the centreline lines of sidewalks, pedestrian roads, cycle paths and combined light traffic routes. The material also includes the centreline lines of the most significant park corridors, park roads and paths, boat docks, riding routes and the most important outdoor routes. The material also includes bridges and under-costs and stairs. Some underground connections or through shopping centres are also recorded in the material. The starting data for the maintenance of the centreline data are the base map, up-to-date city plans, Guide map, latest ortho aerial photographs, street fairway classification (Transport Planning Department of the Helsinki City Planning Agency), the outdoor and cycling map of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and the materials produced by HKR. The Scale: 1:500 The material is available in two different formats: 1. ESRI Shape: ETRS-GK25 (EPSG:3879) 2. CML: WGS 84 (WGS 1984, EPSG:4326) The data is maintained in vector format with Bentley MicroStation. The classification of the transport network is based on the Road Traffic Act and the road classification used by the Transport Planning Department of the KSV. Midline data was last updated in 2014.
