The Nature Information System allows you to explore the diverse nature of Helsinki. The main natural resources of the system are nature conservation sites, valuable flora and vegetation sites, important bird areas, important bat areas, dwarf sites and small water sites.
The data published as open data of the Nature Information System can be downloaded in several formats, including JSON, KML, CSV, Esri Shape and XML. Available formats can always be found in the outputFormat section of the service [GetCapabilities](https://kartta.hel.fi/ws/geoserver/avoindata/wfs?request=getCapabilities). For more information and guidance, see [WFS search guide](https://kartta.hel.fi/avoindata/dokumentit/Prosessi_Ty%C3%B6ohje_kyselypalveluiden_kaytto_ulkoverkko.pdf).
