Helsinki City Museum’s materials

The Helsinki City Museum has opened more than 48,000 materials openly licensed through the Finna service, where you can find material-specific descriptions. Finna contains, among other things, **Signe Brander** all 906 photographs of Helsinki 100 years ago and many other material about the lives of residents of the past. The collection’s treasures are from plastic bags to hairdryers and travel tickets to works of art. The data also contains information about the history of Helsinki-based buildings. All pictures of the Helsinki City Museum in Finna are freely available for download and use, but the name of the photographer and the Helsinki City Museum must be mentioned.
