Dataset description

The goal-oriented green and recreation network vistra contains the components of the Helsinki Green and Recreation Network. These include green fingers, marine blue pond, green lines, district parks and other zoned parks, as well as different routes and connections. The map area covers the entire land area of Helsinki. The southern sea area is demarcated from the map. For Östersundom, the proposed green fingers and recreation connections are target-oriented and presented according to the unconfirmed planning situation in 2016. The map serves land-use planning and the development of public areas, specifying the contents of the 2050 theme map of the master plan “Recreation and Green Network”. The map illustrates the development of the continuity of the green and recreational network. The map is based on the current situation and the anticipated future situation through the land use priorities of the master plan. The purpose of the map is to serve as a starting point for further planning, e.g. when defining more precise locations of green connections or the boundaries of parks in town planning. Check out the reports at the bottom of the map: published in 2016 [Helsinki Green and Recreation Network Development Plan: Vistra Part II](https://www.hel.fi/hel2/ksv/julkaisut/aos_2016-2.pdf) and published in 2013 [Green and Maritime Helsinki 2050 — vistra PART 1: starting point and vision] (https://www.hel.fi/hel2/ksv/julkaisut/aos_2013-4.pdf).
