Dataset description

The Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) connection parking service provides information on parking places in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. The service contains information on, for example, the locations of the parking spaces, opening hours, capacity, pricing and the operators of parking spaces with contact information. More detailed description of the interface: https://p.hsl.fi/docs/ The Connection Parking Service materials are also available in [ArcGis](https://public-transport-hslhrt.opendata.arcgis.com/) as separate material packages (CSV, SHP, KML, GeoJSON or GEOSERVICE format): — [HSL access parking areas](https://public-transport-hslhrt.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/liipi-liitynt%C3%A4pys%C3%A4k%C3%B6intialueet) — [HSL’s car access parking](https://public-transport-hslhrt.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/liipi-autoliitynt%C3%A4pys%C3%A4k%C3%B6inti) — [HSL wheel access parking](https://public-transport-hslhrt.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/liipi-py%C3%B6r%C3%A4liitynt%C3%A4pys%C3%A4k%C3%B6inti) **Access parking area** is a number of access parking points, e.g. in connection with a station. Kannelmäki is an example of a parking area. Thus, the connection parking area usually always includes several parking spaces. **Access parking** is a single parking area that can be used for car or bicycle parking. A single access parking site is always practically connected to a connection parking area.
