HSL’s public transport terminals

The public transport terminals offered by HSL are extracted from HSL’s public transport register (Jore) as cross-sectional data. The material describes the terminals used by HSL’s public transport services. The terminal includes a stop set in the public transport register, the geometry of which is described as a point. A single terminal can only consist of one mode of transport. Therefore, the train station and the adjacent bus station are described as two separate terminals. The data has been compiled specifically for consultancy and research purposes and is intended to describe HSL’s lines in an optimal situation, so that as few lines as possible are available on exceptional routes. For this reason, the time of picking often has to be adjusted according to the update situation of HSL’s public transport network. The aim is to update the data as quickly as possible whenever the service period changes (usually mid-August).
