Dataset description

Since the beginning of 2018, Helsinki noise data has been collected with accurate Cesva TA-120 noise sensors. Data has been collected in the mySMARTLife EU project (where Forum Virium Helsinki is part of Helsinki). The data is distributed in tabular form as CSV files with a minute-by-minute average calculated by the sensor and a maximum value for each second as an A-weighted dB (dBA). The data is updated once a day at midnight. In addition to CSV files, an experimental Jupyter Notebook file is provided, allowing data to be easily downloaded to your computer for examination and analysis in the Jupyter programming environment.
