Kymenlaakso county plan 2040 in a uniform data model

Kymenlaakso county plan 2040 is a total provincial plan that, when it enters into force, repeals all the plan entries and the related planning regulations of the previous regional plans in the area. The planning area of the 2040 regional plan is the municipalities of the province of Kymenlaakso: Hamina, Kotka, Kouvola, Miehikkälä, Pyhtää and Virolahti. In the municipality of Iitti, the previous regional plans will remain in force. The municipality of Iitti will move to Päijät-Häme region on 1 January 1.1.2021. Kymenlaakso Regional Council approved the Kymenlaakso regional plan in 2040 at its meeting on 15 June 2020. In accordance with Section 201 of the MRL, the provincial government has ordered the provincial plan to enter into force before it becomes final at its meeting on 24 August 24.8.2020. The material is suitable for general examination of the county. The data is visualised according to the HAME data model, which differs from the visualisation of confirmed regional plans. Skirt visualisation is based on commonly agreed regional planning markings developed in the HAME project (Harmonised regional planning as e-services).
