Dataset description
The lake interface contains identification, physiography and regulation data on all water collections over 1 ha in Finland. Identification data include name, coordinates and a catchment area identification code. Physiographic data include, for example, the water sector, the length of the coastline and the maximum depth. The purpose of the regulation and the information on the authorisation to regulate are explained.
