Lake Register/Regulatory projects

The Regulatory Projects section of the Lake Register contains basic information on Finland’s regulatory projects. Other water management permits are also included that affect the water levels and flows of lakes. The system is accessible through the Hertta and Open Information services. The data is part of SYKE’s open datasets (CC BY 4.0). Purpose of use: The section of the Finnish Environment Institute’s regulation projects has collected basic information on Finland’s regulation to support the use of water systems, water management, planning and development work and communication.
