Dataset description

DESCRIPTION OF A computational noise report on the City of Tampere has been prepared in 2022, in which the 3D model and the placement of noise sources have been used to calculate the distribution of sound. Noise calculations are made in the form of area calculations at an altitude of 2 metres above the ground. The calculations have been made using the national indicators LAeq separately for the daytime average sound level (from 7 a.m. to 22 a.m.) and the night-time average sound level (22-7) and the forecasted situation in 2040 has also been modelled for day and night periods, all of which are separate levels in the map service. Spatial data sets from noise zones by source (streets/roads/rails/railways) are available from the Environmental Protection Unit. The noise survey of the entire city is carried out every 5 years. When examining the results of the surveys for different years, it should be noted that there are changes in the calculation methods and in the definition of noise sources, so that the results of the surveys for different years are not directly comparable. The Noise Report has been published on the website of the City of Tampere: https://www.tampere.fi/luonto-ja-ymparisto/ymparistonsuojelu/melu/meluselvitykset The report has been prepared by Sitowise Oy in cooperation with the City of Tampere, the Finnish Transport Agency and the North Ostrobothnia ELY Centre. The objective of the strategy level study is to examine noise and noise-related changes at the level of the city as a whole, which is why it is possible that the calculation model for individual houses or plots may not be sufficiently accurate. Thus, for example, in connection with planning work or building permit, there may be a need for a more detailed noise report. Coverage Kantakaupunki and North Tampere road 338 surroundings. Update A one-off report, renewed every 5 years. The data is stored in the ETRS-GK24 (EPSG:3878) level coordinate system. Geometry of Area-formed Information. The material is available from WFS and WMS interfaces, the material is stored in the PostGIS database. Publicity, INFORMATION Open data. No data protection issues. Environmental Protection Unit ([email protected]) FIELDS: vyohyke Tells in which medium-sound noise zone that position. For example, in the zone 50-55 dB, the mean sound level is calculated to be at the lowest 50 and the highest is 55 dB.
