Noise structures (road register data type 514)

The data cover the road network maintained by the Finnish Transport Agency. This data type shall indicate the road section with a noise structure. Special noise rails on the bridges are also inventoryed. The noise structure is made of the type and material and separately the surface upholstery material. The emergency arrangements related to treatment are explained as office work in the ELY. A representative image of the noise structure is taken. In addition, the average distance of the top edge of the structure from the edge of the road and the average height of the upper and lower edges of the structure in relation to the surface of the roadway shall be determined. The noise structure should be registered as more than one road address interval if it consists of clearly more than one share of the above average key figures.
