Occupational safety and health and safety and health and safety

The occupational safety and health area is part of the overall architecture of the health and well-being area, which is the responsibility of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. The operations and information management of the occupational safety and health area are affected by the overall architecture of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and, due to the extensive content of occupational safety and health, the architectures of several other actors such as the Regional State Administrative Agency, other ministries and authorities. This top-level description of the OSH area’s overall architecture model the principles of occupational safety and health in Finland from the point of view of the Ministry of Labour and Equal Opportunities Department and occupational safety and health control. The top-level description focuses in particular on the perspective of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s official work and describes the current situation, development needs and information management in the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The main activities of the occupational safety and health area are the supervision of occupational safety and health, the preparation of legislation on occupational safety and health and the development of occupational safety and health, which in substance affect all sectors and workplaces in Finland. Working conditions, working conditions, occupational health and accidents, occupational safety and health in the workplace, the grey economy, market surveillance and the activities of the occupational safety and health authority in the workplace are the key content from the point of view of the information and skills needs of workplaces. The overall architecture of the occupational safety and health area is the basis for continuous improvement of occupational safety and health and information management and for improving the quality of official work. In 2016, a top level description of the functional architecture of OSH was produced, which is the first architectural description of the target area. The top level description was updated in 2020 as part of the implementation of the Information Management Act. The aim is to update and develop the description of architecture as part of the planning of operations.
