Dataset description

The material includes paid parking spaces in the public street and parking areas of the Tampere city centre area and Kauppi Kuntokatu area. In addition, the material includes, for example, residential and business parking places in the city centre area, as well as places for different user groups. The (general) characteristics of parking facilities have only the number of seats. The material will be updated after the parking decisions have been taken. Features: — LUEEN_NUMBER: the unique number of the parking area. — TARGET TYPE: K = street-side parking area E = separate parking area I = disabled parking area L = parking area for buses T = taxi station M = car park for motorcycles P = public parking facility — TYPE OF PLACE: The direction of the parking space in relation to the road (note that the characteristics are missing in large parking areas). S = parallel to the roadway V = diagonal in relation to the track K = perpendicular to the road track — NAMES_NUMBER: estimated number of seats for passenger cars (in the direction of the street, length 6 m/h). — TYPE OF RESTRICTION: according to the area’s daily limit. M = paid parking K = puck parking L = parking ban for part of the day Empty = Parking Unlimited — YOPYSAICATIONS: the ban is usually only valid during the winter. 1 = Yes 0 = No — PRICE: EUR/hour (determined by payment zone). — MAX_ TIME = The longest permissible parking time in hours. — RAJ_AIKA_ALKAA_ARK = the limitation period starts on weekdays (time in hours). — RAJ_AIKA_PAATTYY_ARK = the limitation period ends on weekdays (hours time). — RAJ_AIKA_ALKAA_LA = the limitation period starts on Saturdays (hours time). — RAJ_AIKA_PAATTYY_LA = the limitation period ends on Saturdays (hours time). — RAJ_AIKA_ALKAA_SU = the limitation period starts on Sundays (hours time). — RAJ_AIKA_PAATTYY_SU = the limitation period ends on Sundays (hours time). — REGULATION PAYMENT: 1 = Parking allowed with resident and corporate parking ID. 0 = No separate residential and business parking. — WINTER MAINTENANCE: A request for transfer of parked cars in winter. The value of the field is 0 if there is no transfer prompt. If there is a transfer call in the area, the value of the field is a two-digit integer, the first number of which indicates whether winter care is carried out in odd (1) or even (2) weeks. The latter number indicates the day of the week on which the request for transfer is valid. Number 1 corresponds to Monday, number 2 to Tuesday, etc. Number 24, for example, means a transfer call on a Thursday even week. (Only 12, 13 and 23 are present in the centre) — FREE OF CHARGE: 1, 2 or 3. The centre is divided into charging zones. The distribution is based on the length of time the vehicle can be parked in the area. — OTHER THAN: Other information related to the area, such as exceptions related to parking time or authorised vehicles, as well as decisions relating to the parking area. — PAIVITY_PVM: Date of the last change to the parking area and update of the data (note that the characteristic is missing for areas that have not changed since 2011). The native coordinate system of the data is ETRS-GK24 (EPSG:3878). Through the WFS service, the material can be called in several formats (e.g. JSON, CSV) using the outputFormat parameter of the address. The background system is GeoServer, whose WFS interface features more accurate documentation. The data can also be viewed in the Tampere geographic information service.
