Pirkanmaa county plan 2040

The Pirkanmaa regional plan 2040 is a common, general land use plan for the whole region. It contains a map description of the use of the areas and the principles of urban development. The plan solves issues related to the use of areas that are nationally, regionally and regionally significant. The plan was prepared by the Pirkanmaa Federation in cooperation with the regional authorities, companies, communities and residents. Pirkanmaa Regional Council approved the regional plan on 27 March 2017, after which the Provincial Government ordered it to enter into force on 29 May 2017. The spatial data set of the Pirkanmaa Regional Plan 2040 is a vector-based dataset covering the region of Pirkanmaa, which contains dot, line and area-shaped objects whose marking, regulations and visualisation are listed in the publication Formula Labelling and Regulations. The characteristics of the data also include, for example, the name of the schematic entry, the abbreviation and the name of the object. The Pirkanmaa Regional Plan 2040 also includes the following publications: schematic report, impact assessment of the regional plan and appendix maps. Pirkanmaa Regional Plan 2040 is suitable for use in land use planning tasks.
