Includes population of 1 km x 1 km squares. The number of population shall be reported on the last day of the reference year (31.12.) by age group.The material contains only inhabited squares. The statistical variables in the data are: total population (invasion), number of men (men) and women (women), persons aged under 15 (ika_0_14), persons aged 15 to 64 (ika_15_64) and persons aged 65 or over (ika_65_). For boxes of less than 10 inhabitants, only the population is reported. Other variables get the value of -1. The box identifier shall be indicated by the national identification code derived from the coordinates (id_nro (num)) and by the INSPIRE standard identification code (grd_id (char)). The data also contains the coordinates of the lower left corner of the box (xkoord, ykoord (num)). The data describes the population by square, regardless of the administrative territorial divisions (e.g. municipal boundaries). The data is suitable for analysing the population distribution and for carrying out various regional analyses. The data is available both as areas and as centers of the boxes.
