In cooperation between the National Board of Patents and Registration, the National Land Survey of Finland and the Population Register Centre, a study on the interoperability of basic data resources was carried out between October 2016 and January 2017.
The study identified the interoperability challenges of the basic data repositories and identified concrete proposals for measures to improve interoperability. The basic principles for the interoperability of basic data resources were created as well as a review table for the quality of services. In addition, the descriptions of the current status of the Population Information System, the Enterprise and Community Information System, the Trade Register and the Real Estate Information System as appended to the reference architecture of the basic data reserves were updated in connection with the survey work.
