Dataset description

The objectives of the supplementary proposal for the protection of musical instruments are the marshlands identified by the Working Group on the Protection of Boatlands (2012-2015), which are of national value in terms of their natural values and are the most complementary to the existing network of protected areas. The material contains the items proposed by the Working Party on the Protection of Boatlands. Sites are not removed from the material, even if they, or parts thereof, are established or otherwise protected. The data includes the completed projects in the country of Finland, which were approved by the Government on 30 March 2015 and 14 April 2016 (Preliminary opening balance of the Finnish Forest Government). The data set consists of site demarcations approved by the working group on the protection of peatlands and natural data on sites, state-owned protected areas, and areas protected by a permanent decision of Metsähallitus. The material contains the following elements: 1. SoidenSuojTaydTaydTerm: Target limits of the proposal for complementary framework protection 2. Swamp types: Swamp types located at sites in the field survey 3. SoidenSuojTaydConclusions: List of types of lesions observed at the sites. Connects to SoidenSuojTayd Terms and Conditions based on the target field. 4. SoidenSuojTaydTaydSpecial features: Regional specificity table identified in the sites. Connects to SoidenSuojTayd Terms and Conditions based on the target field. 5. SoidenSuojTaydEhd_MH_subjects: Final target limits for State-owned sites approved by the Government on 30 March 2015 and 14 April 2016 (Forest Government’s preliminary opening balance) 6. SoidenSuojTaydEhd_MH_MyPaatos: Final delimitations of the Government’s final target targets for State-country targets approved by the Government on 30 March 2015 and 14 April 2016 (Preliminary opening balance of the Finnish Forest Government) and protected by Metsähallitus’ permanent decision. The material is part of SYKE’s open data (CC BY 4.0). Purpose: Implementing nature conservation and supporting land use planning and forest use planning. The delimitation of the areas is such that the water management and natural values of the marsh can be maintained in the long term and the necessary restoration measures can be carried out provided that the site is protected in accordance with the demarcation. The delimitation may change in the course of implementation. The sites established by Metsähallitus’ permanent decision are either land-use or area-ecological sites. The classification of an area in a given category is based on an administrative land use decision. Land use sites are usually larger entities. Ecological sites are the core areas of Metsähallitus’ ecological network of multifunctional forests. By decision of Metsähallitus, the peatlands within the demarcation area that are permanently implemented in land use sites and area-ecological natural sites are maintained as complementary to the field of sound protection, and forest management is not carried out in the area. Drained swamps can be restored. The call can be used as a basis for the winter road. The activities of mineral soils on islands delimited or delimited to protected sites shall not impair the water economy or natural values of peatlands. They operate in accordance with Metsähallitus’ Environmental Guide. The boundaries have been digitised in the ELY Centres and Metsähallitus. The material contains partly overlapping objects. When using the material, it should be noted that the material contained in the supplementary proposal for the protection of musical instruments is not legally binding, as it is not a nature conservation programme within the meaning of the Nature Conservation Act, which would have direct legal effects. In the case of completed sites in state countries, areas protected under the Nature Conservation Act were transferred to the management of nature services by Government decisions of 30 March 2015 and 14 April 2016 (the preliminary opening balance sheet of the Forest Government) in other equity and the areas protected by Metsähallitus’ permanent decision were left to be implemented by Metsähallitus as part of the core capital.
