Public transport stop (Digiroad data type)

Definition of: A public transport stop. In addition to location data, public transport stops have comprehensive characteristics, such as name, type and equipment information. Coverage: Public transport stops can be located on all other road links, except on light traffic routes, ferries and ferry routes. The data type covers both local and long-distance traffic stops. The material can be downloaded as part of the Digiroad package from the Finnish Transport Agency’s download service or directly from Digiroad’s website at https://vayla.fi/vaylista/aineistot/digiroad/aineisto/pysakkiaineisto.
