Dataset description

The data type presents faults and observations on rails. The location of the fault keys is shown in the data with accuracy of one kilometre and they have been generalised according to the track-kilometres on the network. The source system of the data type is the maintenance application for the track infrastructure management system (RAIKU). The type of fault detection can be found in the Subtype field. If the object is accompanied by more specific information, the information can be found in the Observation Type field, which may also be empty. Possible fault findings and their details include: — Rail sighting — Kiskon Hiking — Steel parts for extension fitting — Continuation — Insulation section insulation — Insulating joint steel parts — Kiskovika — Wear and tear of the chariot rail — Local wear and tear — Ultrasound The status of fault detection can be found in the status field, possible fault states include: — ‘New’ = The fault is new and no corrective action has been taken. — ‘in_progress’ = The correction has been initiated and the corrective action has been applied to the fault — ‘Done’ = Correction is complete — ‘Cancelled’ = Cancelled In addition, the items for fault observations include the following characteristics: — ‘UID’ = unique id of the object — ‘client_log time’ = Date of recording by the user — ‘recording time’ = Date of recording in the application — ‘Type’ = Type of original geometry of observation, can be dot or line-shaped — ‘start time’ = Date when the fault is detected — ‘stop time’ = Date when the fault is detected — ‘edit time’ = Last observation time — ‘detachment_date’ = Date when the information was retrieved from the source system
