Relics (Registration of Ancient Remnants)

The material contains the location and characteristics of the protected immovable relics in the register of ancient relics maintained by the National Board of Antiquities under the Ancients Act 17.6.1963/295. The sites have dot-like information and, in addition, some of the objects have been digitised with area-like delimitation. Territorial delimitation describes the extent of the relic based on current research. The restriction may change as research data grows. The area demarcation of the relics means that the boundaries of the area are defined in the field inspection, i.e. by observing on site and exploiting old map material, while a dotted relic may include, for example, the information that it has an old residence but the area has not yet been defined.
