The Suomi.fi service database is a common and centralised data resource for public administration to describe the services and service channels provided by the public administration. The services can be targeted at individuals, companies or public authorities.
In the data model of the service database, services and service channels are linked not only to topic classifications, but also to target groups and life situations, so that the service information is not only about structures but, in principle, is situation-focused and customer-oriented.
The production of data in the Service Data Repository requires registration and authorisation for commissioning, but the data can be used freely and free of charge through an open interface.
The source code of the service repositories can be found in GitHub and is licensed under a MIT license.
