The hills

The Wizard system’s Mäet target category falls under the Road Target Register’s Road Trend dataset. The target category was TL 112 Mäet in the Road Register. This target class is based on the determination of the relative elevation difference between two consecutive roads using a barometer (atmospheric pressure). The method aims to obtain a rough picture of the refractive points of the alignment line, so the measurement is usually carried out only on top of a hill and at the bottom of the valley. The measurement is carried out centrally (separate instructions), processed in its own pre-system and then transferred to the road register.
